BioBlitz in 2022
In 2022, 12 countries got involved (see the map below). In total, the participants collected almost 3000 recordings of more than 700 non-native species. Below the map you can see some summarized data.
Top plants
Plants were recorded the most often, with the absolute winner, Senecio inaequidens, which was recorded more than 250 times, predominantly in Belgium. In contrast, Ailanthus altissima was recorded just 137 times, but in 9 countries, the most from all taxa (not just plants).
